Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a novel water-mixed-type chemical exothermic agent. [MEANS
FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An exothermic agent comprising (1) a calcium oxide powder
having an average particle diameter of 75 to 150 μm in an amount of more than
30% and not more than 40% relative to the amount of the exothermic agent by mass,
(2) a mixed aluminum powder comprising a mixture of (i) an aluminum powder having
such a particle distribution that a fraction having a particle diameter of 45
μm pass accounts for 70.0 to 80.0% and a fraction having a particle diameter
of 45 to 75 μm accounts for 20.0 to 30.0% and (ii) an aluminum powder having
such a particle distribution that a fraction having a particle diameter of 45
μm pass accounts for 60 to 70%, a fraction having a particle diameter of
45 μm accounts for 20 to 30%, a fraction having a particle diameter of 63
μm accounts for 7 to 10%, and a fraction having a particle diameter of 75
μm accounts for 1.0 to 2.0%, at a mixing ratio of 1:2 by mass, in an amount of
not less than 60% and less than 70%. The exothermic agent may further comprise (3)
at least one inorganic salt compound selected from the group consisting of calcium
sulfate, ferrouns sulfate, magnesium chloride, sodium sulfite, sodium phosphate
and sodium carbonate in an amount of 5 to 10% relative to the total amount of the
exothermic agent by mass.
