Title:
EXPANDABLE POLYSTYRENE RESIN PARTICLES, POLYSTYRENE PRE-EXPANDED PARTICLES, AND FOAM MOLDED BODY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/026972
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide expandable polystyrene resin particles which are capable of suppressing scraping noise without contaminating a pre-expanding machine or a molding die, and which enable the achievement of a foam molded body that exhibits excellent fusion properties. The purpose is able to be achieved by expandable polystyrene resin particles which are formed from a styrene monomer and a polysiloxane-containing macromonomer, and which are characterized in that: an external additive that has a melting point of 40°C or higher is contained therein; and a foam molded body that is obtained by pre-expanding and subsequently molding the expandable polystyrene resin particles has a coefficient of static friction of 4.0 or less.
