The present invention relates to a shoe having a stretching function, in which a portion for covering the top of a foot is stretchable according to a fatigue state of the foot to provide a comfortable wearing sense. The technical idea of the present invention provides a shoe comprising: an upper having a throat formed therein to allow a foot to be inserted therethrough; an insole coming into contact with the sole of the foot; and an outsole coming into contact with the ground, wherein: a top edge is formed on the upper edge of the throat and includes a front edge covering the top of the foot and an ankle edge covering the periphery of the ankle; a stretching seam line is formed, through cutting, on the center of the front edge in the longitudinal direction of the shoe so that the stretching seam line is stretchable together with the upper in the widthwise direction; and balancing seam lines are formed, through cutting, on both sides of the inner end of the stretching seam line in the widthwise direction of the shoe so that the balancing seam lines support the stretching seam line to be uniformly stretched at a time of stretching of the upper in the widthwise direction. Therefore, since the stretching seam line is uniformly stretched according to the fatigue state of a foot, the prevent invention provides a comfortable wearing sense.
