Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing expandable thermoplastic resin particles which can combine high heat-insulating properties with high expansibility and contain graphite having an average particle diameter smaller than 2.5 μm. The expandable thermoplastic resin particles comprise specific amounts of graphite, a thermoplastic resin, and a blowing agent, wherein the graphite has an average particle diameter in a specific range and has a span "S", indicating the width of the particle size distribution (S=(D90-D10)/D50), of 4.0 or less.
