Abstract:
A multi−stage expanding type hybrid inflator capable of preventing mis−operation from occurring, wherein, when combustion is caused first in a first gas generating chamber (130), combustion gas flowing out through first communication holes (136) flows in the direction of the inner wall of an inflator housing (102) and does not flow in the direction of a second gas generating chamber (140), whereby the mis−operation in the second gas generating chamber (140) can be prevented from occurring by the thermal energy of the combustion gas.
