Abstract:

The present application relates to the technical field of terminals, and in particular to an expansion component for an electronic device, and the electronic device, aiming at solving the problem in the prior art that it is difficult for a client to configure an extension component are due to the fact that functions in the expansion component cannot be conveniently expanded and replaced. The present application provides the expansion component, comprising a housing, a back plate, and an expansion plate. The housing is provided with an accommodation cavity and an insertion hole communicated with the accommodation cavity; the back plate and the expansion plate are both provided in the accommodation cavity; the expansion plate comprises a plate body, and a first connector and a first sealing member that are provided on the plate body; the plate body is inserted into the insertion hole; the first connector is connected to the back plate; the first sealing member seals the insertion hole. The expansion plate in the present application is detachably provided in the housing, and therefore, the expansion plate can be directly changed for realizing different functions.
