An expansion screw for a wall plate, comprising a screw (10) and an expansion sleeve (20). The expansion sleeve (20) comprises a support portion (21), deformation portions (22), and a threaded sleeve (23) which are connected in sequence; the support portion (21) is set as a hollow straight quadrangular prism, such that the sidewalls of the support portion (21) at opposite sides extend toward the threaded sleeve (23) to form the deformation portions (22); an internal thread matching the screw (10) is provided inside the threaded sleeve (23), such that a first deformation seam and a second deformation seam are respectively formed at the joint between each deformation portion (22) and the support portion (21) and the joint between each deformation portion (22) and the threaded sleeve (23). In use, the screw (10) is screwed into the threaded sleeve (23) after passing through the support portion (21) and the deformation portions (22), and the middle of each deformation portion (22) is driven by means of the thread fit between the screw (10) and the threaded sleeve (23) to bulge outwards, by taking the first deformation seam and the second deformation seam as end points, to form a hook claw (223) to hook and abut against the backsurface of a wall plate (30), so as to fix the expansion sleeve (20) to the wall plate (30).
