Abstract:
When a power element (34) expands in the direction of a uniaxial core (CL1), a diaphragm (341) is pressed in the direction of the uniaxial core (CL1) against an abutting part (462) of a lid member (46) fixed to a body (30), a holder member (343) of the power element (34) moves away from the abutting part (462) as the diaphragm (341) expands outwards in the direction of the uniaxial core (CL1), and displacement of the holder member (343) in the direction of the uniaxial core (CL1) is transmitted to the spherical valve (321). Therefore, since said transmission increases or decreases the opening degree of a spherical valve (321), members which complicate processing of the expansion valve (12), such as members requiring complex welding processing, need not be provided between the holder member (343) and the spherical valve (321).
