Provided is an expansion valve that makes it possible to further reduce weight and costs even when, for example, the same materials as those used in the prior art are used. The expansion valve comprises: a valve main body equipped with a valve seat within a valve chamber; a valve body that prevents the passage of a fluid as a result of being seated on the valve seat and allows the passage of the fluid as a result of being separated from the valve seat; an insertion section; and a flange protruding in a direction orthogonal to an axis with respect to the insertion section. The expansion valve also includes a valve body support connected to the valve body, a coil spring that has the insertion section inserted therein and biases the valve body toward the valve seat via the valve body support, and an anti-vibration member sandwiched between the flange and the coil spring. The anti-vibration member comprises a base section including an opening through which the insertion section passes, and a plurality of leg pieces extending from the base section and in contact with the inner wall of the valve chamber. At least one of the outer circumference of the insertion section and the inner circumference of the opening is non-circular in a cross section orthogonal to the axis of the valve body support, and the outer circumference of the insertion section and the inner circumference of the opening are in contact at three or more points along the circumferential direction.
