Title:
EXPIRATORY PRESSURE LOAD TRAINING MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/059354
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an expiratory pressure load training management device for reducing shortness of breath of a COPD patient and improving exercise capability and physical activity. The present invention is a training management device for a user who has COPD. The device comprises: a means for inputting expiration information relating to an inspiration or expiration time ratio TEX for one breathing period during maximum exertion by a user in CPET, and an inspiration or expiration time ratio TRE for one breathing period during rest time according to an examination; a means for calculating the difference between TEX and TRE and determining whether there was prolonged expiration by the user during exercise; a means for presenting, to a user who was determined to have prolonged expiration during exercise, a menu of expiratory pressure load training based on a maximum expiration muscle value; and a means for inputting expiration information after a prescribed number of cycles of the expiratory pressure load training, and information relating to exercise capability, judging whether there was an improvement in exercise capability of the target user, and presenting training results.
