Abstract:
The device relates to lighting engineering and specifically to explosion-proof lighting equipment for light-emitting diodes intended for use in environments at risk of explosion and fire, and is directed to increasing the degree of fireproofness of said device by virtue of ensuring permissible values for the magnitudes of voltages and currents flowing in the circuit. The claimed explosion-proof light-emitting diode luminaire comprises a spark-proof envelope, at least part of which is light-transmissive, a power supply source (1) and at least one light source, which is formed on the basis of a light-emitting diode (2), with which a ballast resistor (4) is connected in series. A current-limiting resistor (5) which ensures the permissible values of the current in the circuit and a Zener diode (6) which ensures the permissible values for the voltage of the power supply to the device are connected to the power supply source.
