Abstract:
Provided is an explosive composition for diamond synthesis which enables the production of diamond particles having a relatively large particle size. This explosive composition for diamond synthesis comprises an explosive component, a carbon material which may be constituted by the explosive component, and diamond particles, wherein the total proportion of the explosive component, the carbon material and the diamond particles relative to the total amount of the explosive composition for diamond synthesis is 99 mass% or greater. Preferably, the crystallite size of primary particles of the diamond particles determined by XRD is not more than 100 nm.
