Title:
EXPOSURE CHAMBER APPARATUS FOR TESTING INHALATION TOXICITY OF NANOPARTICLES IN PRIMATES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/017825
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an exposure chamber apparatus for testing inhalation toxicity of nanoparticles in primates, in which nanoparticles are supplied to the respiratory organ of a primate while the primate is in a fixedly seated position by means of a chair unit, with the head region of the primate encased by means of a head case integrally coupled to the chair unit, thereby allowing the exposure chamber apparatus to be structured so that just the head region rather than the entire body of the primate is encased, and thus the size and volume of the exposure chamber apparatus can be reduced, and as the nanoparticles can be intensively supplied to the respiratory organ of the primate, nanoparticles can be more effectively supplied and more accurate measurement results can be obtained regarding the effects thereof.
