Abstract:
The present invention realizes an electronic pen that can be put to a broader range of uses. A core body (11) composed of an electrically-conductive material is attached to a tip of a cylindrical case composed of an electrically-conductive material. Said cylindrical case comprises a plurality of cylindrical cases (12, 13(1), 13(2), 14) that share the same shaft center. Said plurality of cylindrical cases are formed into a short-length state when overlapped on one another and into a long-length state when extended. When overlapped to form a short-length state, the cylindrical cases have a length that is substantially the same as that of a conventional electronic pen, and fulfill functions of a conventional electronic pen. When extended to form a long-length state, the cylindrical cases are able to serve as a pointing stick or a pointing device.
