Abstract:
The present invention suggests an extended-reality-based acupuncture system and a method therefor, the acupuncture system enabling blood selection and acupuncture by projecting and displaying bone and muscle information on a human model with movable joints on the basis of extended reality. The extended-reality-based acupuncture system according to the present invention comprises: a human model located in a predetermined practical exercise space; an acupuncture needle applied to an acupuncture point of the human model; an XR headset for recognizing the gaze and the hand motion of a practicer, and projecting and displaying a virtual model having bone or muscle information on the human model according to the gaze of the practicer; a motion capture unit for providing, together with the human model located in the practical exercise space, spatial coordinates of the acupuncture needle and the XR headset worn by the practicer; and a central processing device for generating the virtual model to be projected on the human model, on the basis of the spatial coordinates provided by the motion capture unit, providing the generated virtual model to the XR headset, and reconfiguring information necessary for blood selection and acupuncture to match the gaze of the practicer, so that the reconfigured information is provided to the XR headset.
