Abstract:
The invention relates to an extendible operating and inspection arm which can be used to examine the state of difficult-to-reach surfaces or elements including under water and which can also be used to perform corrective operations on same, such as cleaning, painting or minor repair work. The invention consists of an upper control arm (1) comprising a screen (3) which can be used to view images captured by a camera (4) that is installed on the lower actuating arm (2) which comprises an accessory support element (11) to which different auxiliary devices, such as brushes, paintbrushes or similar attachments, can be connected. According to the invention, the two arms (1, 2) are articulated to each other and can be extended telescopically such that the camera (4) and the accessory support (11) can access difficult-to-reach areas.
