Abstract:
Disclosed is an extension measurement device that can measure the degree of extension of a chain without presetting the distance between rollers before use. Further disclosed are an extension measurement system and a computer program. On the basis of an image of at least three pins (72, 72,…, 72), the distances (P1, P2) between neighboring pairs of pins are each calculated. Of the calculated distances (P1, P2) between pairs of pins, the longer distance is the pitch of an inner link (81), and the shorter distance is the pitch of an outer link (71). Since the outer link (71) does not extend and only the inner link (81) extends, the proportion of the difference between both pitches to the pitch of the outer link (71) is taken to be the degree of extension of the chain.
