Abstract:
Disclosed are an exterior-enclosed construction having a function of suppressing vortex-induced vibration, and a method for suppressing vortex-induced vibration. The exterior-enclosed construction is provided with suction through-holes (100a) penetrating through a peripheral wall thereof, with the suction through-holes (100a) being circumferentially distributed along the exterior-enclosed construction. The exterior-enclosed construction is further provided with a suction apparatus. The suction apparatus can perform suction for the suction through-holes (100a) from outside to inside so as to suppress a boundary layer at an outer surface of the exterior-enclosed construction in order to disengage from the outer surface. By means of suction, the boundary layer can be "adsorbed" on an outer surface of a tower barrel (100), thus suppressing or directly preventing the boundary layer from being separated from the outer surface of the tower barrel (100), so as to reduce or eliminate the cause of the vortex-induced vibration. During suction, a suction force can be adjusted at any time according to a vibration state, thus making the flexibility higher. In addition, the suction for the suction through-holes (100a) can obviously reduce noise significantly. Regardless of whether during unit hoisting or during operation, the suction always has a suppression effect on the vortex-induced vibration, and can also cool the interior of the tower barrel (100) during discharge to the interior.
