Abstract:
This exterior material for an electricity storage device is provided with at least: a base layer; a metal foil layer provided with a corrosion-prevention treated layer on either or both surfaces thereof; and a sealant layer, in this order, wherein the sealant layer contains (A) a polypropylene-based resin and (B) 1-40 mass% of an incompatible component, the maximum seal strength SM , in an adhesive portion to which said exterior material is attached by heat-sealing, is 35 N/15 mm or more, and condition (1) or (2) is satisfied. (1) The ratio, SS/SM, of the seal strength SS in a stable region to the maximum seal strength SM is 0.3 or more. (2) The ratio, SA/SM, of the average seal strength SA to the maximum seal strength SM , is 0.3 or more.
