Abstract:
The present invention relates to an external data-based method and system for constructing various triggering mechanisms for executing a smart contract in a blockchain. The method comprises: first, a smart contract is issued in a blockchain network and the completion of confirmation by all participants to the smart contract is waited for; then, a triggering component in the blockchain network calls external data on the basis of customized triggering mechanisms in the smart contract and, when the external data is polled as satisfying any of the triggering mechanisms, issues transaction broadcast information to network-wide distributed nodes; and finally, the network-wide distributed nodes respectively call and verify the external data corresponding to the triggered smart contract. The employment of the external data-based method and system for constructing various triggering mechanisms for executing a smart contract in a blockchain implements the calling of the external data for the smart contract in the blockchain, uses this as a basis for triggering the corresponding smart contract, and ensures that independent and complete execution can be implemented once the smart contract is triggered, thus expanding for the smart contract the implementation of support for a complex application scenario.
