Abstract:
A rear spoiler device (10) is provided with a dielectric elastomer actuator (DEA) (11), a movable spoiler (12), and a control unit (13). The movable spoiler (12) is operated by means of the DEA (11) and acted on by downforce. The control unit (13) controls a voltage applied to the DEA (11), and measures the capacitance of the DEA (11). The control unit (13), on the basis of the applied voltage and the measured capacitance of the DEA 11, calculates an external force parameter corresponding to a downforce obtained via the movable spoiler (12), and controls the applied voltage so that a measured value (F1) of the external force parameter obtained by the calculation becomes closer to a target value (F0).
