Abstract:
The present application discloses an external parameter calibration method and apparatus, a device, a server and a vehicle-mounted computing device. The method comprises: acquiring point cloud data and pose data; constructing a target function according to the point cloud data, the pose data, first feature information and a current first transformation matrix, wherein the first feature information is obtained by extracting features of the point cloud data on the basis of a first neural network model, and the first transformation matrix is a transformation matrix from a first coordinate corresponding to the point cloud data to a second coordinate corresponding to the pose data; and updating the first transformation matrix according to the target function. In the present application, feature information extracted by a deep neural network is used to construct a target function for use in updating a first transformation matrix, which helps to improve the accuracy of external parameter calibration, thereby improving the precision of functions such as system mapping, positioning, navigation, etc.
