Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are an extra-long cowhide collagen fiber and a manufacturing method and use thereof. According to the present invention, a wet-blue cowhide is pretreated, extruded twice and washed, and then undergoes plasma treatment, dyeing, drying, opening, and fiber-separation, so as to extract cowhide fibers therein. The resulting extra-long cowhide collagen fibers are longer than collagen fibers obtained with the prior art, and have good surface morphology and dyeing quality. The present invention can achieve high-efficiency and damage-free treatment of raw materials, such that the length of fibers is better maintained and the surface morphology of the fibers is improved, and the resulting extra-long cowhide collagen fibers can have excellent dyeing depth and evenness after dyeing. By adopting conventional processes such as weaving, the extra-long cowhide collagen fibers of the present invention can be used to manufacture products which require long fibers and have higher demands on tensile strength, antibacterial properties, and dyeing fastness, including apparel such as socks, suit fabric, shirts, and underwear, and daily-use leatherware such as automobile cushions and sofa fabric.
