Abstract:
The present invention relates to a microorganism variome which is capable of extracellular heme generation, and more specifically, to a metabolically engineered microorganism variome which is capable of extracellular heme generation and a heme production method using same. Heme, a complex salt, is increasingly being used as a health food and food additive to treat porphyria, and the present invention has an advantageous effect of allowing high-yield, extracellular production of heme using a microorganism variome, rather than by existing methods of chemical synthesis, enzyme synthesis and the like.
