Abstract:
This extracorporeal-circulation blood pump device (10) comprises a pump body (22) to which there is connected a catheter (16) for removing the blood of a patient (100) and in which an impeller (14) is rotatably accommodated, and a drive device (24) that is removably attached to the pump body (22) and that causes the impeller (14) to rotate. The pump device (10) also has a wound-covering sheet (30) that is attached to the body surface (102) of the patient (100). The wound-covering sheet (30) is capable of covering both the pump body (22) and at least the location where the catheter (16) is inserted into the body.
