The present invention relates to the technical field of apparatuses for extracting active components of animals and plants, and particularly relates to an extraction device having a compact structure. The device comprises a main shaft (11) and multiple extractors surrounding the main shaft (11). The main shaft (11) is arranged vertically. The main shaft (11) is connected with a drive mechanism driving rotation thereof. The extractors are connected to the main shaft (11) and rotate synchronously with the main shaft (11). Overflow openings (101) are provided at upper portions of the extractors. Fluid inlets are provided at side portions or lower portions of the extractors. Each of the overflow openings (101) is in communication with the fluid inlet therebehind in a rotation direction of the main shaft (11) via a circulation tube (5). The multiple extractors of the extraction device having a compact structure are arranged to surround the main shaft, thus realizing a compact structure of the entire extraction device, and reducing an occupied space. Countercurrent extraction of a material and extractant is achieved by means of the circulation tube and rotation of the main shaft.
