Abstract:
The present invention is a dried-laver extraction mechanism for affixing dried laver to a formed rice ball. The mechanism is provided with: an accommodation box for accommodating a plurality of sheets of dried laver in a stacked state; an extraction opening provided at the bottom of the accommodation box and from which the bottom-most dried laver is exposed; and a control device, the control device being configured so as to move the accommodation box and/or the rice ball in the stacking direction of the dried laver so that the extraction opening of the accommodation box is aligned in a vicinity directly above the rice ball, and so as to change the relative distance between the rice ball and the bottom-most dried laver that is exposed through the extraction opening of the accommodation box, whereby the bottom-most dried laver is extracted.
