This invention relates to a production method for an extruded foamed polystyrene sheet equipped with a corrugated pattern which forms a corrugation on the surface of the extruded foamed polystyrene sheet having a skin layer by moving relatively the polystyrene sheet and a fixed or rotary die while bringing the surface of the sheet into contact with a die. The invention relates also to a production method for an extruded foamed polystyrene sheet equipped with a corrugated pattern which moves relatively an extruded foamed polystyrene sheet having a skin layer and a heated fixed or rotary die and heating the extruded foamed polystyrene sheet to cause partially post expansion. The invention relates further to an extruded foamed polystyrene sheet equipped with a corrugated pattern having a large number of corrugations formed in parallel with one another on the surface, wherein the corrugations consist of either a skin layer and a coarse surface formed by the rupture of the skin layer, a skin layer and grooves cut into the skin layer, a skin layer having luster and a skin layer having no lusteror a skin layer having no luster and a skin layer having luster.
