Abstract:
The disclosed eye-irrigation device can reliably irrigate not only the cornea but also the conjunctiva and allows prompt eye-irrigation treatment. Said device is provided with: an eye-irrigation implement (20) for opening an eyelid; a first hose section (30) and second hose section (40) for delivering water to the eye-irrigation implement (20); and two pressurized bags for delivering an eye-irrigation solution to the eye-irrigation implement (20). The eye-irrigation implement (20) is provided with a pair of contact parts (22), and each contact part (22) is formed from a support section (221), a conjunctival irrigation section (222) that is inserted underneath the eyelid and discharges eye-irrigation solution towards the conjunctiva, and a retinal irrigation section (231) that discharges eye-irrigation solution towards the retina. With the eyelid kept open by the support sections (221), the conjunctival irrigation sections (222) can irrigate the conjunctiva while the retinal irrigation sections (231) simultaneously irrigate the retina. The conjunctival irrigation sections (222) and the retinal irrigation sections (231) can be made to discharge different eye-irrigation solutions from each other, and the water pressure can be adjusted via the pressurized bags.
