Abstract:
An eye lens container having a novel configuration and a method of manufacturing the eye lens container, whereby it is possible to uniformly secure a lid sheet to a flange-like section of a container body.
In an eye lens container, a projection tip (40) is formed integrally with a container body (12) so as to project from the rear surface (26) of a flange-like section (20) of the container body (12), and the projection tip (40) makes contact with a predetermined support surface (64) to support the container body (12). The eye lens container is provided with a deformable section (38) which, on the basis of deformation thereof, uniformizes a pressing force applied thereto when a lid sheet (42) is secured to the surface (24 (30)) of the flange-like section (20).
