Abstract:
Disclosed are an eye location method and apparatus. The eye location method comprises the following steps: establishing a mask plate according to symmetry characteristics of feature points of an eye, the feature points comprising an outer corner point, an inner corner point, a highest corner point and a lowest corner point; acquiring a mask image according to a pre-acquired eye image and the mask plate; acquiring location information of a strong corner point from the eye image according to the mask image; and acquiring locations of the feature points of the eye in the eye image according to coarse location information, pre-acquired from the eye image, of the feature points of the eye and the location information of the strong corner point. The present invention is capable of accurately locating feature points of the eye.
