Abstract:
Provided is an eye mask-type heater that warms the eyes (eyeballs) and areas surrounding the eyes to a suitable temperature. A heater 1 comprises: a heat generation material 3 that generates heat through contact with air; a body section 2 that accommodates the heat generation material 3, and that covers the left and right eyes and the area surrounding the eyes on the face of the user when the heater is worn; and a pair of ear hooks 4L, 4R that are hooked onto the ears of the user when the heater is worn. In the body section 2, eye-covering sections 8L, 8R, which are sections that contact the eyes when the heater is worn, are demarcated from a surrounding area-covering section 9 that contacts the area surrounding the eyes. The filling factor of the heat generation material 3 in the eye-covering sections 8L, 8R is less than that in the surrounding area-covering section 9.
