Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to display an image normally in a structure that projects an image obliquely onto the lens surface of eyeglasses. An eyeglass-type image display device 1A displaying an image with a surface on the lens 50 of the eyeglasses as an incidence surface comprises: a video output unit 12 for outputting video light; a first optical member 13 that receives video light output from the video output unit 12 and outputs the video light; and a second optical member 14 that receives video light output from the first optical member 13 and projects the video light obliquely onto the incidence surface of the lens 50. The incidence surface of the first optical member 13 is inclined relative to the incidence surface of the lens 50 to thereby suppress the video distortion at the incidence surface of the lens 50 that is caused by the video light obliquely projected onto the incidence surface of the lens 50 from the second optical member 14.
