C L A I M S

1) . A fixing device of sunglasses or eyeglasses, which consists of the flat element of FIG. 1 and the hook of FIG. 2, where these two independent elements are firmly through the passing of a curved end of the hook 2 from the upper end (la) of the flat element of FIG. 1 , whereas through the lower aperture ( 1 b) of the flat element the arm of the glasses passes through to fasten the glasses and the said device is fastened through the hook to the user's clothing piece.

2) . A flat element of any suitable shape of FIG. 4 which has two apertures on its surface, a small aperture (la) on its upper end, through which the hook passes through (2b) in order to be fastened through a knob (2c) which also a larger aperture on its lower end (lb).

3) . A hook (2b) made of a plastic or a flexible metallic material with a round knob (2c) on its end, to be fastened on the flat element of FIG. 1 of the previous claim through the upper aperture of it (1 a).

4) . A device, in accordance with any previous claims, which is characterized in that the hook 2b passes through the aperture 1 a of the flat element 1 and clips the said aperture to the end of the knob 2c, the said device after assembly may be used for the passing through and the fixing therein and the aperture lb of the arm of the glasses in order for the glasses to be fastened.

5) . Use of the sunglasses or eyeglasses device in accordance with any previous claims, particularly of presbyopic glasses in a fixing manner for their safe transport and use.

Description:
EYEGLASSES AND SUNGLASSES FIXING DEVICE.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

A known problem for eyeglasses and sunglasses users is the transport and storage of the glasses used and, in particular, the presbyopic glasses, which are randomly used many times during the day, as they are only required when reading documents and texts from a close distance, and not on a permanent basis.

The glasses are often lost or forgotten, since the user wears them and puts them off, as needed and, thereafter, he seeks them by losing time. In order to solve this problem, various chains are commercially available today, made of plastic or metallic material, which are permanently put around the neck of the user and they pass through the arms of the glasses. When using these chains, the user is obliged to always wear them around his neck, wherefrom the glasses are hanged. Thus, the glasses are always hanging around the user's neck, which may lead to their damage and destruction particularly because of the body movement which makes them move uncontrollably, whereas the loops gripping arms relax with time and the glasses fall and break or they get lost.

The goal of the present invention is to provide a device of fixing glasses in a solid manner, which consists of a system of two independent parts which are interlinked and which is fixed on the male or the female shirt or even on the space created at the point of the neck of various clothing pieces. It is an advantage of the present invention that the said device is fixed on the user's clothing piece through a hook in a fixed manner, so that it cannot be moved or pulsed. As a result, the glasses are not damaged, and more importantly the arms are not relaxed, fallen and lost.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

More particularly, the device provided herein includes:

A basic, flat, element in various shapes, preferably made of a plastic, elastic material, silicone, a thin metallic material and/or any other flexible but firm material, which flat element may be of any suitable shape, for example rectangular, oval, square, round or any other shape which combines the aforementioned shapes, which has an aperture on its surface, through which the hook passes in order to be fixed via a knob bearing at its lower end.

The said flat element also provides a bigger aperture on its lower end through which a first fixing arm of the glasses passes, which safely fixes the glasses to the said device, as it passes through and folds.

A hook with one curved end and an embedded knob on it, which consists of a plastic or a flexible, metallic material, which in relation to the said flat element is fixed on it, as it passes through the first upper aperture, and which said hook passes through and is fixed on the shirt or the neckline of the clothing piece or any other suitable point of the user's clothing. The said hook has a round knob on its said end passing through the first fixing element, which allows a stable attachment since it is mounted and adjacent (engaged) to the said first upper end.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION IN RELATION TO THE DRAWINGS

Figure 1

Figure 1 shows the flat element in an elliptic oval shape, which has a first upper aperture (la) for the hook to pass through and for the knob to be fixed and a lower aperture (lb) through which the frame of the glasses is passed and fixed via the arm.

Figure 2

Figure 1 shows the hook in a front view (2a) and in a side view (2 b), where there is a knob on its front end (2 c) of a suitable size in order to be inserted and secured to the aperture of the flat element (la) of the drawing (1). Figure 3

Figure 3 shows the flat element of the drawing (1) with the hook (2a) being fixed inside the aperture (la) in full combination and operation in order to create the suggested fixing device of the eyeglasses and the sunglasses.

Figure 4

Figure 4 shows the said flat element (1) in various suitable shapes, in particular figure 4a shows an oval, elliptical shape, figure 4b shows an oval- angled shape, figure 4c shows a round shape, figure 4d shows an oval, non-elliptical shape and figure 4e shows a polygonal shape with an upper curve and figure 4f shows an elliptical, flatted, round shape.

DETAILED REFERENCE TO THE OPERATION OF THE OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

For the creation and full operation of the object of the invention, a first flat element is created, as shown in FIG. (1) of any suitable plastic material or a metal foil of any shape among the disclosed shapes in figure (4), the said element having two appropriate apertures, as shown in the said figures (1, 4).

Furthermore, a hook is created (2) as shown in FIG. (2) of plastic or flexible metal material, which hook has an embedded knob on its shorter, folded end (2c). When assembling the two elements (1) and (2), the hook (2) is inserted in the upper aperture (la) of the device (1) so as to be clipped and solidly fixed on the knob (2c) of the hook (2) in the hole (1 a) of the device (1).

When the said two elements are fully assembled the glasses fixing device of the invention is being created, as shown in Fig. (3). The complete mounted device can be secured in the opening of the shirt or another item of the user's clothing piece from the straight distal end of the hook, while the user's eyeglasses can be fastened and hanging via their arm from the lower aperture (1 b) of the device. The present invention is not limited to the herein referenced -for explanatory and description purposes- shapes and dimensions, but also included any shape, dimension and material suitable for the implementation and operation of the invention, subject to the scope and purpose of the present invention.
