Abstract:
A sewing machine fabric cutting device capable of forming eyelet holes of various lengths and linear holes without changing a knife and a knife receiver. A sewing machine fabric cutting device (1) provided in a sewing machine (100) for forming button holes in a sewing object (200) and linking the peripheries of the button holes, and provided with a knife (5) for cutting the sewing object (200) in order to form button holes, wherein the knife (5) is provided with an eyelet knife portion (54) for forming an eyelet portion (202) of an eyelet hole (201), out of button holes, consisting of an eyelet portion (202) and a linear portion (203), and a linear knife portion (55) for forming a linear slit capable of serving as the linear portion (203) of the eyelet hole (201). When the linear knife portion (55) and the eyelet knife portion (54) of the knife (5) are integrally moved toward the sewing object (200) to cut the sewing object (200), the eyelet knife portion (54) is disposed above the linear knife portion (55) so that the linear knife portion (55) cuts first followed by the eyelet knife portion (54).
