An eyepiece lens used in a viewfinder optical system (VF) with which an image formed by an objective lens (OL), an image displayed by a display member, or an object, is observed by means of an eyepiece lens (EL), wherein an antireflective film (101) is provided on at least one of the optical surfaces forming the eyepiece lens (EL), and the antireflective film (101) includes at least one layer (101g) formed using a wet process.
