Abstract:
An eyepiece optical system for a near-eye display, and a head-mounted display device. The eyepiece optical system comprises a first lens (L1), a reflection unit (P), a second lens (L2), and a third lens group (G3); the second lens and the third lens group have the same optical axis which is perpendicular to a micro image display (I); after the optical axis of the second lens and the third lens group is reflected by the reflection unit, said optical axis is identical to the optical axis of the first lens; the third lens group at least comprises a third lens (L3); the second lens and the third lens have aspheric optical profiles, and the first lens is the only lens disposed between the reflection unit and the observing side of human eye; the third lens group further comprises a fourth lens (L4) proximate to the micro image display. The present eyepiece optical system is compact in structure, small in size, and high in optical resolution, and can enable optimal visual experience for a head-mounted display device.
