Abstract:
The present invention relates to fabric filled with a phase change material, to a method for producing same, and to a product using the fabric filled with a phase change material. More particularly, the present invention relates to a fabric filled with a phase change material, in which the phase change material is filled into multiple sections between an upper surface material and a lower surface material of the fabric, to a method for producing same, and to a product using the fabric filled with a phase change material produced from the fabric filled with a phase change material. The fabric filled with a phase change material and the method for producing same according to the present invention comprise the phase change material being filled into multiple sections in the fabric, such that the phase change material reacts to the ambient temperature by itself and repeats endothermic and exothermic reactions in accordance with a preset temperature, thereby maintaining human body comfort. That is, the fabric filled with a phase change material according to the present invention is usable for various purposes and applications, and is also useful in special purpose gowns for workers in food processing factories, hospitals, barbershops, beauty parlors, restaurants, butcher shops and the like, who wear clothing made from air-tight vinyl or urethane materials, and is also usable in various products which can control temperature in everyday life to provide a comfortably cool or warm environment, such as bedding for camping, clothing, furniture, packing materials, construction materials and the like. The above-described fabric filled with a phase change material is greatly useful to humans as it enables a wearer to be provided with required thermal energy or to emit thermal energy, thereby achieving energy-saving effects and thus preventing global warming.
