Abstract:
Provided is a leather-like fabric comprising: a leather-like front surface layer that uses at least one from among polyester, nylon, acrylic, linen, cotton, silk, rayon, and wool; and a rear surface layer that is adhered to the rear surface of the front surface layer, wherein the front surface layer and the rear surface layer have been subjected to an embossing process. Also provided is a method for producing a leather-like fabric, said method comprising: a step for affixing a front surface layer and a rear surface layer to each other; and a step for subjecting the front surface layer to an embossing process in a state where the front surface layer and the rear surface layer are affixed to each other, wherein the front surface layer is a leather-like layer that uses polyester.
