Description:
FABRIC WASHING MACHINE

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates generally to machines for cleaning fabrics during production.

In particular, the invention relates to a low water and energy consumption fabric washing machine for removing oil and dirt from fabrics in the washing, bleaching and mercerising processes during the production of fabrics.

STATE OF THE ART

Nowadays, fabrics pass through various stages during production. In this production process, the fabric must be washed to remove oil and dirt in textile washing, bleaching and mercerising processes. Fabric washing machines are used for this process.

Since the fabric washing machines used in the current technique are not specially designed for this process, their oil removal and cleaning performances are low. In addition, since the washing times of the fabric washing machines in the current technique are long, water and energy consumption increases and this increases the washing cost. At the same time, the initial investment costs of the existing fabric washing machines are high.

During the research on the state of the art, document TR2011/01055 was found. The said document relates to a fabric washing machine comprising a fabric freezer, a fabric opener, an application unit and squeezing cylinders, a washing unit having a water spraying device, immersion and transfer cylinders and a fabric washing method to be performed using the said machine.

As a result, improvements are being made in fabric washing machines, so new embodiments are needed to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above and to bring solutions to existing systems.

OBJECT OF INVENTION

The present invention relates to a fabric washing machine which fulfils the above- mentioned requirements, eliminates all disadvantages and brings some additional advantages.

The main object of the invention is to perform the washing process during fabric production in order to remove oil and dirt from the fabric before passing to the stenter stage.

An object of the invention is to reduce the cost of water and energy consumption during the washing process by reducing the washing time of the fabric.

Another object of the invention is to provide a fabric washing machine with a lower initial installation cost.

In order to realise all the advantages mentioned above and to be understood from the detailed description below, the present invention is a fabric washing machine which is used for removing oil and dirt from the fabric during the washing, bleaching and mercerising processes during the production of fabrics, and which provides low water and energy consumption, wherein an embodiment comprising following has been obtained: • at least one drum washing cabinet with a drum for the removal of oil and impurities that have penetrated into the pre-washed fabric,

• washing cabinet with at least one holding chamber to ensure that the fabric is washed for the last time before leaving the machine to remove the oils on it.

The structural and characteristic features and all advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood by means of the figures given below and the detailed description written with reference to these figures. Therefore, the evaluation should be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

In order to best understand the embodiment of the present invention and its advantages with additional elements, it should be evaluated together with the figures described below.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the inventive fabric washing machine are described solely for the purpose of a better understanding of the subject matter and without any limiting effect.

The invention relates to a low water and energy consumption fabric washing machine for removing oil and dirt from fabrics (1 ) in the washing, bleaching and mercerising processes during the production of fabrics (1 ) comprising:

• at least one drum washing cabinet (3) having a drum (4) for the removal of oil and impurities which have penetrated into the pre-washed fabric,

• at least one holding chamber washing cabinet (9) with a holding chamber (10) to allow the fabric to be washed for the last time before leaving the machine to remove any oils.

Figure 1 shows a general view of the inventive fabric washing machine. In its most general form, said fabric washing machine consists of a pre-washing trough (1 ), a drum washing cabinet (3) and a washing cabinet with a holding chamber (9). The fabric is washed in the fabric washing machine in open width form.

In the pre-washing trough (1 ) located in the entrance section of the fabric washing machine of the invention, the first washing of the fabric is carried out by immersion method. The first washing of the fabric is provided by pre-washing cylinders (2) in the pre-washing trough (1) and the washing effect is increased. The number of prewashing cylinders (2) can be one or more depending on the pre-washing requirement. In the second step, the fabric passes to the drum washing cabinet (3) by means of the first squeezing cylinder (5). The first squeezing cylinder (5) ensures that the fabric is drawn into the drum washing cabinet (3) and at the same time the bath water of the fabric washed in the pre-washing trough (1 ) is squeezed out. The fabric whose bath water is squeezed in the first squeezing cylinder (5) passes through the first water column (6). High flow rate water is delivered to the fabric passing through the first water column (6). The fabric coming out of the first water column (6) passes to the washing drum (4) which has a high-water circulation capacity. The fabric passes around the washing drum (4) and by the hydrodynamic effect of the washing drum (4), the difficult-to-wash oil and impurities penetrated into the fabric are removed. The fabric exiting the washing drum (4) enters the second water column (7) and is washed again. The washing effect is increased by means of the first pressurised showering (8) located after the second water column (7). After this step, the fabric passes to the washing cabinet (9) with holding chamber.

The passage of the fabric into the washing cabinet (9) with holding chamber is provided by the second squeezing cylinder (11 ). The second squeezing cylinder (11) both draws the fabric from the drum washing cabinet (3) and squeezes the bath water out of the fabric finally washed by the first pressurised showering (8). The bath water squeezed out by the second squeeze cylinder (11 ) is returned to the drum washing cabinet (3). The fabric passing through the second squeezing cylinder (11 ) passes through the third water column (12). The fabric passing through the third water column (12) is washed again with high flow rate water. The fabric coming out of the third water column (12) is piled into the holding chamber (10). The fabric piled into the holding chamber (10) is kept in the bath water for a certain period of time and the oil on the fabric is removed. The fabric coming out of the holding chamber (10) enters the second pressurised showering (13). With the second pressurised showering (13), the final washing of the fabric is provided and the washing effect is increased. With the third squeezing cylinder (14), which is outside the washing cabinet (9) with holding chamber, the fabric is removed from the washing cabinet (9) with holding chamber. The aforementioned third squeezing cylinder (14) also ensures the squeezing of the fabric. The bath water of the fabric squeezed by the third squeezing cylinder (14) is returned to the washing cabinet (9) with holding chamber.

With the inventive fabric washing machine, it is ensured that the oil and dirt on the fabric during the production of the fabric are cleaned with less water and energy consumption. The said fabric washing machine has a modular structure and the number of drum washing cabinet (3) and washing cabinet with holding chamber (9) can be increased depending on the washing recipe or production capacity.
