Abstract:
This face authentication system is configured to be provided with: registration devices (4) that acquire specific information items used for specifying users of a facility and registration face images of the users; at least one face authentication machine (1) that acquires authentication face images of the users taken when an event has occurred; a face management server (5) that is connected via a network to the registration devices (4) and stores the registration face images and the specific information items in association with each other; and a face comparison server (6) that generates face feature amount data items from the registration face images and the authentication face images and performs a comparison process for the face feature amount data items.
