Abstract:
Provided is a face collation system capable of accurately identifying individual persons. The face collation system comprises: a robot 10 having a camera that is configured to be rotatable in a planar direction; and a facial recognition server 20 that collates with a database a facial image included in an image captured by the robot 10 and that acquires, from a customer information database, attribute information indicating an attribute of a person corresponding to the facial image. The robot 10 transmits to the facial recognition server 20 the captured image and a capture angle which is the camera angle in the planar direction during the image capture. The facial recognition server 20 calculates, on the basis of the captured image and the capture angle received from the robot 10, a person angle which is the angle in the planar direction of the facial image included in the captured image relative to the robot 10, associates the person angle with the attribute information for the facial image, and outputs the person angle.
