Abstract:
According to the present invention, a detection unit (112) detects one or more face areas, in which the face of a subject is shown, from one or more subject images in which at least a part of the face of the same subject is shown. An acquisition unit (113) acquires, for each face area, face information that indicates the feature of the face shown in the face area. An evaluation unit (114) calculates, for each face area, an evaluation value of the face area on the basis of the face information of the face area. A selection unit (115) selects a face area from the one or more face areas on the basis of the evaluation value for each face area. A generation unit (116) generates a face image corresponding to the selected face area.
