Abstract:
A facial recognition device including a facial image acquisition unit, a verification unit, a time measurement unit, and a threshold value alteration unit. The facial image acquisition unit obtains a facial image to be recognized. The verification unit performs facial recognition on the basis of a threshold value for the facial image to be recognized. The time measurement unit measures the lapsed time since the start of operation of the facial recognition device. The threshold value alteration unit restricts the alteration of the threshold value to a value that is larger than a value determined on the basis of the measured lapsed time.
