Abstract:
Provided in the present invention are a facial recognition method and device, the method comprising: acquiring an RGB image used for facial recognition and a corresponding depth image; selecting a target face in the RGB image; determining, on the basis of the target face and the depth image, whether an interference face is present in the RGB image; if an interference face is not present, then performing facial recognition on the basis of the target face. In the present invention, when performing facial recognition on an RGB image containing a plurality of faces, the RGB image can be combined with a corresponding depth image to determine the face used for facial recognition in the RGB image. Because the depth image contains richer information, and because the depth image is able to reflect the distance to the image capturing device of each face in the depth image, and because the distance to the image capturing device of a face is able to reflect, to a certain degree, the intent of a user to perform facial recognition, failing to detect a face in the RGB image can therefore be avoided in the present invention, and the face used for facial recognition in the RGB image can be correctly determined.
