Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a facial tissue product satisfying the conditions pertaining to strength, bulk (specific volume), and softness. To also provide a method for producing said facial tissue product. [Solution] A facial tissue product which contains pulp as the main ingredient and in which a sheet is formed as one layer or as a pair having two or more layers, the grammage of one sheet is 10 to 20 g/m2 and the specific volume of one sheet is 7 to 15 cm3/g. The facial tissue product is characterized in that the square root ((DMDT×DCDT)1/2(DGMT)) of the product of the tensile strength (DMDT) in the vertical direction and the tensile strength (DCDT) in the lateral direction as measured in accordance with JIS P8113 when the facial tissue product is dry is 1.5 to 3.5 N/25mm, and the height difference of the concaves and convexes on the surface is between 80 and 250 μm.
