Abstract:
This disclosure provides a technology for preventing, in detection of an abnormal site in the surrounding environment of a railway vehicle moving on a track (for example, a rail track), a normal site from being detected as an abnormal site due to misalignment, depending on the presence/absence of a moving object. The facility patrol system according to the present invention includes: an image-capturing device for capturing an image of the surrounding environment of a railway vehicle moving on a track; a storage device for storing, for each position on the track, a reference alignment point group and a reference difference extracted point group; a alignment region separation unit for separating the alignment point group from a three-dimensional point group obtained from the image; an alignment unit for aligning the reference alignment point group with the alignment point group and outputting alignment information; and a difference extraction unit for extracting a difference between the three-dimensional point group deformed by the alignment information and the reference difference extracted point group (see FIG. 2).
