Abstract:
The invention discloses an installation for protecting life in the vicinity of nuclear power plants as well as other important facilities or areas, and focuses on natural disaster prevention and control. The protective installation includes a main part and a subsidiary part. The main part consists of a pillar assembly, a reinforcement bar, a baffle, a gear assembly, a power device, a winch, a pulley-cable and a base. The subsidiary part consists of a fire control assembly, a transport assembly and a protective assembly. The protective installation provided by the current invention is used to address concerns that "an existing nuclear power plant is likely not equipped with protective facilities other than the plant itself." In case of accidents such as nuclear leakage, the protective installation can quickly reduce the hazard levels of radiation leakage from nuclear power plants and other related places within minutes, and protect the life in the vicinity of nuclear power plants as well as other important facilities or areas. The protective installation is stable and easy to construct, boasting high stability. It can reduce damage to the fending groyne caused by seismic activity and has a marginal impact on lighting, landscape, air circulation, etc.
