Abstract:
Provided is an electric vehicle fail-safe device capable of achieving a fail-safe operation in the event of electrical leakage in a power system. The electric vehicle fail-safe device for an electric vehicle that runs on a motor (MG) driven by power supplied from a high-power battery (BAT) is characterized by being provided with a resistance detection unit (95) and an integrated controller (10) for detecting electrical leakage in an electric air conditioner (70) driven by the power supplied from the high-power battery (BAT), wherein the integrated controller (10), while inhibiting the supply of power to the electric air conditioner (70) after the start-up operation of the electric vehicle if a leak has been detected, performs the processes in steps (S118), (S120) for supplying power to the motor (MG).
