Abstract:
A failed call/SMS notification system and method. The method firstly captures the failed call/SMS from a network then notifies the second user about the failed call/SMS. The system for notification about the failed call/SMS comprises a data capturer, a notifier and a decisioning algorithm. Then a decisioning algorithm checks the first user and second user eligibility performance and finally an automatic notification is sent to notifier through a decisioning algorithm. The notification is sent to both prepaid and postpaid call/SMS. The notification is in either form of a Call, SMS, USSD, Wap Push and MMS.

Description:
A failed call/SMS notification system and method

BACKGROUND

Technical Field

[0001] The embodiments herein generally relate to a field of communication and, more particularly, relates to a failed call/SMS notification system and method.

Description of the Related Art

[0001] In today's public telephone network there is no convenient way to notify the second user about a failed call/SMS. When a first user calls a second user and call get disconnected or in a case when the first user sends a message to the second user and the message is not delivered to the second user and the second user gets no information for the call from the first user because there is no system to notify the second user about the failed call/SMS. [0002] There are systems to notify the first user about the failed call/SMS whenever the call/SMS done by the first user gets failed. In case of failure of a call/SMS from the first user, a notification is sent to the first user about the failure of the call/SMS. But there is no such notification system for the second user.

[0003] Now, for instance, that the subscriber unit has failed. The second user waiting to receive a call doesn't know whether the first user is functioning properly and no calls are initiated or that the first user has indeed failed. Hours and even days pass before the second user discovers about the failed call/SMS done by the first user.

[0004] Therefore, there is a need to provide an automatic notification system to notify the second user about the failed call/SMS done by the first user because there is no such system to notify the second user regarding the failed call/SMS to the second user. So, there is a need to develop a notification system that notifies the second user regarding the failed call/SMS.

SUMMARY [0005] The invention overcomes the above problem by introducing a failed call/SMS notification system and method. Though there are systems to notify the first user about the failed call/SMS but till now there is no such system to notify the second user about the failed call/SMS done by the first user. The present invention discloses a notification system that notifies the second user about the failed call/SMS. [0006] In view of the foregoing, an embodiment herein provides a failed call/SMS notification system and method. The method comprises following step. In first step a data of a failed call/SMS is captured from a network. Secondly a decisioning algorithm checks the first user and second user eligibility performance and sends the automatic notification to notifier. Finally the notifier notifies the second user about the failure of the call/SMS. [0007] In one of the embodiment the notification is sent to both prepaid and postpaid call/SMS. In one of the embodiment the notification is either in the form of Call,

SMS, USSD, Wap push and MMS.

[0008] An embodiment herein provides a failed call/SMS notification system comprises data, a notifier and a decisioning algorithm. The data capturer captures the data about the failed call/SMS from a network. The notifier notifies the second user about the failed call/SMS. The decisioning algorithm checks the first user and second user eligibility to perform the automatic Call, SMS, USSD, Wap Push, SIM SMS, and MMS notification. The notifier further notifies the second user about the failed call/SMS.

[0009] These and other aspects of the embodiments herein will be better appreciated and understood when considered in conjunction with the following description and the accompanying drawings. It should be understood, however, that the following descriptions, while indicating preferred embodiments and numerous specific details thereof, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation. Many changes and modifications may be made within the scope of the embodiments herein without departing from the spirit thereof, and the embodiments herein include all such modifications.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0010] The embodiments herein will be better understood from the following detailed description with reference to the drawings, in which:

[0011] FIG. 1 illustrates the perspective view of a failed call/SMS notification method; and

[0012] FIG. 2 illustrates the perspective view of a failed call/SMS notification system;

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0013] The embodiments herein and the various features and advantageous details thereof are explained more fully with reference to the non-limiting embodiments that are illustrated in the accompanying drawings and detailed in the following description. Accordingly, the examples should not be construed as limiting the scope of the embodiments herein.

[0014] The embodiments herein achieve this by providing a failed call/SMS notification method. The method comprises the followings steps. In step 11 a data capturer captures the failed call or SMS data from a network. In step 13 an automatic notification is sent to the notifier through a decisioning algorithm and finally the notifier sends a notification to second user about the failed call or SMS.

[0015] Another embodiment provides a failed call/SMS notification system. The system comprises the following parts a data capturer (27), a notifier (29) and a decisioning algorithm (31). The data capturer (27) captures the failed call/SMS from a network. The decisioning algorithm (31) sends an automatic notification to the notifier (29) after checking the first user and second user eligibility to perform the automatic Call, SMS, USSD, Wap Push, SIM SMS, and MMS notification. The notifier (29) further notifies the second user related to the failure a call/SMS.

[0016] The failed call/SMS notification is sent to both for prepaid and postpaid call or SMS. The notification is in either form of a Call, SMS, USSD, Wap Push and MMS.

[0017] As mentioned, there remains The foregoing description of the specific embodiments will so fully reveal the general nature of the embodiments herein that others can, by applying current knowledge, readily modify and/or adapt for various applications such specific embodiments without departing from the generic concept, and, therefore, such adaptations and modifications should and are intended to be comprehended within the meaning and range of equivalents of the disclosed embodiments.
